Hi, I’m Dr Kristen Cain.

I’m a board certified reproductive endocrinologist with 30 years experience in women’s health and infertility. I became a doctor when my father had a liver transplant. His journey showed me how much medicine can do. I still have a LIFE magazine from childhood with a cover story about IVF, because I thought it was cool. I never dreamed it would become my life’s work.

I have worked in academics, hospital-based practice, and private practice. Now I work for Kindbody, an exciting startup that is driving better access to care for everyone who needs fertility care. I have trained at Johns Hopkins, UVA, and UCLA. My career has encompassed surgery and teaching, research and advocacy. But even now, nothing beats the glow I feel when I see that heartbeat for the first time, or when I meet “our” baby after all that work!

I am married and divide my time between Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC. I have three wonderful grown daughters who taught me how to have fun and enjoy life, even while working in medicine full time and providing for my family. I am eager to share their lessons with you.

I have two goals. One is to provide excellent, factual, up to the minute solid information about infertility. Too often, the internet is a tough place to get good information from someone you can trust. The other is to share my tips on how to work a demanding career and still have a life you love. My goal is for any woman who is considering a demanding career to be able to do this without having to worry about choosing between her career and her family. You can and should be able to have both. I want to show you how.

You deserve a satisfying career, a beautiful family, and the time to create the life you love.

You deserve high quality, current, understandable information about your fertility.

You deserve access to fertility care, regardless of your state, your sexual orientation, or your income.
